How to install rubber lined valve?

1. When installing, pay attention to verifying whether the valve mark (such as valve type, nominal diameter, pressure rating, material, etc.) conforms to the use requirements, and whether the flow direction mark on the shell is consistent with the pipeline flow direction.

2. When installing, try to install it horizontally, with the valve stem facing upwards. Prevent valve skew so that the valve can be installed in a natural state, and prevent the valve from generating greater installation stress due to pipelines, supports, etc., and the handwheel must not be used to lift the valve during installation and lifting.

3. During installation, if the sealing surface of the pipe flange connected with the rubber lining sealing surface at both ends of the valve is metal, a gasket must be added. The sealing surface of the flange connected to it should be in accordance with the structure of Figure A instead of the structure of Figure B, otherwise it will cause premature damage and leakage of the valve sealing surface.

4. If the pipeline has sufficient strength to bear the weight and operating torque of the valve, the valve need not be supported, otherwise, a supporting point should be provided for the rubber-lined valve .

5. After installation, the valve must be in the fully open position when the system or pipeline is tested for pressure.

6. If you encounter inflexible rotation of the handle or handwheel or unable to open and close the rubber lined valve, loosen the gland nut appropriately. The rotation is still not flexible. It may be that the gland is skewed, and the gland should be adjusted. After adjusting and loosening the gland, the fluorine-lined valve cannot be opened and closed flexibly. It should be disassembled for inspection, cleaned of dirt, and troubleshooting. When disassembling this kind of rubber-lined valve, pay attention to what medium is in the rubber-lined valve pipeline, whether it is used or newly installed. If the medium used is toxic, flammable, or explosive, the staff should wear protective masks and rubber gloves, and wear protective clothing in accordance with the operating procedures. Avoid accidents during disassembly and avoid accidents.
